This is a 1938 photograph of Tony in one his
father's delivery trucks. Notice the telephone numbers printed on the side
of the truck. The two business telephones were simply 91 and 99.
This photograph was taken from the front porch of Tony's home in Aliquippa.
The Fricano Brothers(Carmelo,Antonio and John Joseph) were in business
with the Flam brothers (Moris and Isi) until about 1942. In 1942,
the Flam brothers left the business and the business name was changed
to "C. Fricano and Brothers - Wholesale Produce". |
